aniwaes, i have finally applied for NUS. will do the payment tmr at the ATM. i'm gonna work for awhile more, then go on a short break during the holy week season and i'll go back again. before i know it i'll be off to uni. really really truly so so so fast. ahhhh... time! stall!

this is something i read from my quiet time. the greatest miracle that happened at the cross was the lack of it. how true indeed. he chose not to bring himself down/save himself but submit to the Father's will. because he knew that once he was made a sacrifice, it would offer all of us a one in a million chance that we would turn to the Father. i pray we don't take his love for us for granted. he is a God to be feared, honoured, loved.

today back to work again. back to the routine.. wake up bring dan school go work. and guess what bus 10 broke down at the bus stop outside CGH. first time in my history of taking buses. the captain issued each of us a complimentary bus ride ticket that can be used till 19.04.06 hahah... :)

mission incredible. though attendance wasn't explosive, it had its significance. all who were involved, well done to all you! haha the games were rather.. interesting man so i heard. well.. as for the worship band, i guess we were somehow just not fully prepared. din know what was truly lacking even during the few moments before we went upstage. but all went well and our hearts were tuned right again... and the familiar feeling of worship came back. thank u Lord.

havent applied for uni yet! well i guess its time to come to a final final decision and APPLY. i just pray He opens the doors he wants me to walk through, close those not meant for me. well well.

dad surprised me with a new hp on saturday evening :) hahah its the motorola slim one. 10.9mm haha.. was totally shocked alright. because maybe he knew if his budget's gonna stay like... below 50 bucks then i'd just stay wif my current one my whole life hahahah. well cos mom & i, our contracts haf ended so got some offer thing. dad got it for 18 bucks! but truly, i'm so used to nokia nokia its a chore to start getting used to the new msging system argh argh argh!! then gotta transfer numbers all that... hmph. makes me wanna con't using this phone till i die!

adriel walked daniel home today i'm rather impressed ;) hou guai ah lei didi!

hahha.. i tink i've had a rather eventful week :) let me wreck my brains... think i'm having some sorta short term memory syndrome.

sunday-after church was NUS open house. everytime u go one step further in your education, the land area of the institution gets like 10 times bigger or something. its huge. and for goodness sake, the faculty that i wanted to get into, their 45 min talk was useless. i mean.. telling things we already know. the science faculty talk was so much more informative can. hmph. so collecting brochures from the FASS station, the ramly burger, and the mug i won were the highlights. hahah... sikhi and i got a NUS mug each for telling 'em the name of the person that's on the ppt. corrinne may, daryl david, tommy koh.... yeah :)

monday - was on leave! hahah.. din hafta go work. watched BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2 wif dan at 1130. haha..

tues-library wif mom & dan. found myself at the psychology section oh wells.

weds - went back work 1-6pm. rushed down to tamp sports hall after work to meet mei nat ship lingnah for selene's surprise bdae thingy. haha.

thurs - work from 10-2pm. off wif dad mom dan to IKEA. my gosh that place is just the coolest ever. the furniture there is whoa and not to mention the food k. totally heavenly. meatballs! salmon! chicken wings! haha. can see the amt of $ pumped into that place. successful man.

today - work from 10-2pm. changed into my sleeveless and off to the zoo! wif dad mom dan hahahha... the pink butt baboons never stop picking fleas and lice from their friends' everywhere. got a pix of one digging another's pink butt... another one digging the in front part yeah. and i love otters :) so cute really! told mom i wanted to bring 1 home.

alas now i'm back here.

full schedule tmr again. 11am prac for missions incredible. then membership class. then YAM. ohwells.

its a happy day! and i thank God for the weather!
ok randomness in motion.

1 week has passed since the collection of results and i'm still amazed at what i got.. well i tink i will be for the rest of my life so yeah. what if they send me a slip and say there's a typo error?

linked up wif ppl in the arts & social science faculty in NUS. the whole system is HUH. super weird, troublesome and all in all confusing. i need someone to guide me along! ahhh.... i guess i've kinda narrowed down the courses i wanna take... based primarily on interest-like what everyone says is the most impt and i agree. its gotta fuel you throughout the late nights and endless exams.

gonna be a touche meeting tmr. and i'm kinda secretly hoping joanne will appear somehow. ahem. okay i'm talking to her online now. whoa you really signed in at the right time mama!

i feel accomplished @ work today. cleared an entire steel cabinet of files and sorted them out, placing them nicely neatly in the archive. hahha... tmr will work on a proper inventory. all those files... goodness.. so old and yellow all those documents. and caught some old pictures and hahah was so farnie seeing all those aunties & uncles when they were younger.

my heart is just filled with gratitude at what God has done yet again. thank you Lord :')

couldn't really sleep last night, awoke wif a little giddyness. reached home past midnight after goin chuwen's house @ hougang to chill. with the 7 wanderers of course. we waited for jeremy till 11pm poor guy he kana tortured by his officer and hadta book out so late. aniwaes. watched 50 first dates there and that show is really touching man! yeah.. then went home bathe, stoned awhile worrying away. and fell asleep listening to corrine may. this morn i woke up and told God. "today is the day"

went times to walk and choose my next book after walking daniel to school, then met mengyang and xueli @ tamp mrt. ate a few fries at long john while worrying all the time. we purposely went there late cos we all thought, aiyah sure wont get called up to stage to receive cert one lah we not so smart! and what happened? friends at school called them saying they got 3 As hahahha... out of the 7 wanderers, 3 got AAA. pro eh :) happy for them!

the trip to school was torturous. my heart was forcing itself out of my body. and when we finally reached mrs chong, the world stopped. she hands you the result slip faced down "i let you turn it over yourselves lah huh" i was half crying. not daring to look/flip the slip.

took a deep breath. sighed. turned it over. and what i saw shocked me so much tears were welling up.

all this while i wasn't even anticipating any As. i told God let His will be done but i also told Him softly that i'd be so happy if i got BBC. all these months the questions that i cldn't do kept popping up -like question 1 from the maths paper and the terrible hybrid cross from bio- and all i saw was CCD B3 or sth to that effect.

oh what joy. its not the best one can get, but i'm more than happy with it :)

treated family to dinner @ Genki and bought another book from times. hahha...

and yes once again, my mom guessed my results correctly. she's terrific. for those of u who dun alr know, she woke up saying i'll get 236 for PSLE and that's what i got. and she guessed 14 for Os and bingo. and she guessed AAC and bingo again. how does she do it??
