i think because of this video, i got a glimpse of why revival came to south korea years ago.
they were desperate for God. it was a simple desperation. it wasn't at a state-wide rally that they wept and knelt before Him, but at a simple church service.

i think we all need to be that desperate, myself included.

they sang the song over and over again, but the feelings didn't dissipate. i think everything else was filtered out, and what was left was a simple, desperate heart.

it makes me sad seeing how the world thrives on bad news.

very sad.

i walk past the news stands these few days, and the affair is splattered on every newspaper that comes into view. i take the train, and the girl next to me is holding the newpaper, chatting with her friend about it. across, a guy reads the headlines aloud to his friend sitting next to him, as if its the most ridiculous thing he's ever heard.

why can't people get over the fact that men (i use this as a general term to mean human beings) fall? and why, when a person falls, does the world capitalize on it?

why is it so easy to engage in never-ending gossip about something or someone, and saying something good about someone for even 5 straight minutes is hard?

for the record, i have nothing but utmost respect for his wife. its something no woman should ever have to go through. or child. do the photographers/media remember that they have a family, and children who have people to face too? maybe they say its just their job.

seriously, get over it. spare a thought.
