alas, its saturday once more. and school resumes next week. twas a good break i guess... save for that big worry that's in me.

nat's discharged! praise the Lord! :)

sick since thursday-exploding throat with exploded on friday. went doc on antibiotics now. yeah 3 more pills to go i think.. this one's different from what dr koh used to give me. this one's small and white and the moment mom saw it she said... i'm a dead dead woman.

i'm damn scared i'll get called up for plagiarism. not that i copied an entire chunk from anywhere. not that i didn't put in-text citation when i quoted phrases. but

i really didn't know that even if u read something and took its idea, you need to have in-text citation as well, and listing it at the back is not enough.

for that very reason alone, i'm dead meat. people who plagiarise are either
1. let off with a stern warning
2. called up to meet the dean and have a black mark recorded

oh God!

i mean.. its my first uni essay!

oh God!

on a happier note, the day is over-OH YES IT IS :) so many things going on today. slept 4 hours last night. term break next week... at least get to wake up late yeah baby. i'm so happy been looking fwd to this break. can rest, catchup on readings.. and must start reading my other lit book now that i'm done with dickens. the prime of miss jean brodie

school's taking a toil on me

but it is the Lord, He who gives me hope for everyday

AND YES I MUST ADD.
this greatly annoyed me yesterday. last night in the wee hours of the morning, past midnight. when i was doing the essay, when i was trying to sleep. my goodness for once i really hated the fact that cats are nocturnal animals. they were making utterly weird noises downstairs-which was very very loud indeed. i was trying to make sense of it. cos it was REALLY WEIRD NOISES. it wasn't catfight. for sure. i've heard catfight noises loads of times.

this noise was sick. utterly sick. after processes of elimination, i realised what they were doing. in case you havent gotten it, my guess... they were mating.

peace out.

i've been indirectly persuaded to update :) hahaha. own up now whoever you are :D

week's been tiring, somehow. still struggling to finish dickens, but i've crossed the halfway mark! YES! not very inspiring but nevermind i was never a lit student to begin with.
slept on the sofa last night, and it has to do with my dad again. but i shan't give explicit details here :)

next week's gonna be horrible horrible worse than all the week's i've been through. on friday itself, i've got nature of language test 01 at 8am. and my history mid term test is also due on that day, 5pm. and, best of all, i've got project mtg at 3pm, when i end school at 11am. i was thinking.. i could use the time to finish up my history test. but... i dont know lah. oh and the history test, the lecturer said he'll only tell us the details next tues.

congratulate me c'mon shake my hand

just finished my researching on why some children are more aggressive than others. when i told pet my research topic she immediately, without a care nor a concern, gave me a list of factors.
i just went...
WOOHOO

haha :) i feel like eating HANS breakfast tomorrow, feel like walking parkway. but... the readings constantly nags me.

peace & love to all

back from YMLC. twas good :) everything was goodie i loved the hotel! but i guess one area they cld improve on is that they should haf more group bonding. but well i wrote that in the evaluation form so i've done my part :)

overall it was really fun. in the end rooming didn't go as planned, they put selene and i in the same room. the rooms are double suites, and bernie & ryn shared the other room. we had loads of fun together!! hahaha... they're the best roomies ever. the worship was remarkable. the sermons were whoosh. good stuff.

1 john 3:11

as expected, i DID NOT even manage to finish halfway into dickens. every nite read a couple of pages and... the words will start running about.. left right left... and i'm into dreamland. first night joannekok came over to our room to do her readings and i fell asleep next to her.

was so terribly tired on sunday night. cranky and lousy. did abit of my lit essay, then couldn't take it and went to sleep. woke up continued. handed it in today haha. really scared on how i'll fare man! how important is context in writing and reading a poem?

congratulate me c'mon shake my hand

i've still got loads of readings to do, as usual. so i'm off now. :)

overwhelming response over the convo between my dad and i! haha. shhhhh.....

heartbreaking news.

this is what my tutor said at the end of lecture. "okay next week we'll be going through 'hard times' by charles dickens, and you must have read at least half of the book by then."

congratulate me c'mon shake my hand

half the book. by next monday. i'm gonna haf such a hard time reading hard times. and... its only ONE module this is for. i'm totally lagging in the rest of the modules. and i'll be in batam from fri till sunday. looks like i'll spend the nights reading like crazy. CRAZY, I MEAN CRAZY. people will be happily bonding, having fun and i'll be... reading novels, history texts etc.

enough said back to english readings i'm totally distressed.
