today was quite a mad day.

5pm service
tho i was abit unwilling at first to go for 5pm service, i'm glad i went. joseph chean's a great speaker. at first when he started speaking i couldn't recall what was the one distinct thing i remembered about him after hearing him speak at FUSION 09.
and then after awhile i remembered. his closeness with God was what struck me & what i recorded in my journal + remembered till now. after delivering his msg, he started his closing prayer with these words
"Holy Spirit I saw you walking amongst us just now"and he said it in such a way, that you know it was from his heart & can only come from having a consistent close r/s with Him. and that was what i respected & admired.
today, his closing prayer again struck the same chord in me. makes me wanna have the same kind of prayer life he has.
i think one of the things i took away from his msg today was,
if you take away requests/asking of God in your prayers, what would your prayer life be like? suddenly felt so crippled.
well.
in other news, i got a once-in-a-lifetime experience on friday. visited changi prison! to all the outofbounds areas. a remarkable experience which the majority of people would never be able to see. maybe i'll join prison ministry sometime in my life. you never know!
and in yet other news, i'm developing a sore throat.
