this verse suddenly came to me, out of the blue while i was showering. totally randomly.
"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.''
John 15:16
and i think this is in relation to many things.
1. i keep thinking to myself, WHAT ON EARTH HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO, actually agreeing, AGREEING to join the LCEC?! like what.on.earth. monthly meetings where i sit there and errr, err, listen. but God has been reminding me it IS a privilege to serve, and not many even get asked to join. i'm going in, for the sake of a younger generation.
2. work. if God had opened another door for me and gave me equal peace about it, i think i wouldn't be here. but today's staff morning devotion was great. and i have alot to be thankful for. and God chose me here for this season, to bear fruit that will last. i did not choose Him, but He chose me. tragic truth.
3. its easy to give up on songwriting, because all you gotta do is, nothing. and it'll most certainly die a natural death. and with regards to this, i thank God that He Himself is the one sustaining me. and thank God for supportive friends too :)
in other news. have gotten partner to record Here Again! and am looking forward to uploading it, post-ERCO2.
:)
