Being An Adult

Photobucket

presenting: My First Cheque Book! :D

it's all part of being an adult. the noob me when it comes to financial stuff, finally had to do something since i was earning money already and had to be a good financial steward. so, went to do some banking today and i have a total of THREE accounts now my gosh. from one to three (one of which will not be touched till oct 2013).

in the car, i was saying how uncool a POSB cheque looks. but dad said when people receive a POSB cheque, the payer gets more respect because other cheques could mean that they were paying using borrowed money. i feel better already. haha.

Hadta move myself to action, after finding out that my money was sitting in there not doing me any good, and it would be better moving it elsewhere to earn a little more money. still have got lots to learn about personal banking/financial matters because i am the most noob person on earth about this.

having a cheque book feels so adult-ish my gosh.

IN OTHER NEWS, i got approached by a modelling agency (like, what, right?!). it would be the last thing i would EVER expect to happen. and i was wearing work clothes, which is essentially, kiddy tee and jeans, and backpack. HAHA. i didn't leave my contact details with the person cos i was in shock and in a rush, but i emailed them. we'll see what becomes of it (or not). i've been playing life so safe. and this excitement knocks on my door. i don't know, but it's something refreshing i think. we'll see.

Something to look forward to: SM Town 2012!

somehow, i'm needing more and more of these things to perk me up, make the journey lighter. took Daniel & i approx 1.5hrs of stalking the website before we finally procured our ticket. NOW I CAN'T WAIT :D

everyone needs something to look forward to. dad always says it, but really, the feeling multiplies x100 after the first year of working.

really need something to look forward to. because i'm not made for this. and the small, side things of the job and the compliments i get from that, brings me so much more happiness than what i am actually employed to do.

God help me.
